Wombourne Tandoori

Having ordered and collected take-away food from this restaurant, we were somewhat disappointed to find the food cold despite having only a five minute journey home. Undetered however, we warmed the food cartons in the oven and prepared the table.Much to our horror the vegetable balti we had ordered, despite being labeled as veg balti contained chicken. Totally unacceptable to the vegetarian it was intended for. As regulars we contacted the restaurant expecting profuse apologies, and requested they deliver a replacement so that the remaining food already served did not go cold. Far from being horrified they hardly seemed bothered at all, and declined our request that they take the opportunity to put the matter right. Cold food and unhelpful staff when presented with a significant mistake. No thanks, I think we will give it a miss from now on.
