We arrived at 12.30 on a Sunday, booked for 4 adults and a child. Another adult turned up and even though they were busy, they accomodated us with no fuss. The waiting staff were professional and friendly. We ordered sparkling rose which was good even though i didn't order it so don't know what is was..
The food arrived quickly and with a smile, but not a fake one, and our group was varied with meat eaters, fish lovers and a vegetarian. I had the fillet of mullet with red pepper sauce which was well presented and tasted absolutely gorgeous. For main i had the poached salmon with saffron sauce- the salmon was so soft it melted in my mouth and the sauce was fantastic. They silver served parsnips, roast potatoes, mash, green beans and cauliflower cheese, all cooked perfectly, and again, professional staff serving. The vegetarian amongst us, had asparagus pancakes which she assured us were fantastic and made a change from vegetable lasagne! The sweet trolley arrived and the waitress explained every dish, down to which contained gluten, without a problem. We all had a lovely experience at The Wagon Wheel- staff, food, price (15.50 for 3 courses) and nice garden for the little kid to play in too while having coffee and chocolates!
This is the first time we had been there, and overall, it is a fantastic place, great value, great food and very good waiting staff. 10 out of 10. well worth a visit if in worcestershire, but make sure you book as i think they are always busy!
