We originally visited Kinnaree for our first date almost a year ago now and fell in love with the resteraunt immediately. We have been back numerous times and we have always found the food to be of the highest standards. We have sampled a wide range of the meals and have never been left dissappointed. The atmosphere is perfect and the setting excellent. I have always found the staff to be polite and attentive. However, recently I have become very disenchanted. The last 3 times we have visited the resteraunt we have problems communicating with the waiter and been brought the wrong meal 3 times in a row. Once was for a takeaway meaning that the rest of our meal got cold while we waited. The first time my girlfriend asked for a stir fry and was brought a soup. Additionally, I was annoyed that my main was brought to me whilst my girlfriend was re ordering. This is clearly not a satisfactory situation and surely customers who return regularly need to be looked after every time they come to visit as reputation can only last for so long.

to the review friday febuary 15 2008

What a huge disappointment! The advert that grabbed my attention said 'One of the UK's top ten asian restaurants' as reviewed in The Times; you can imagine we were expecting a real treat. The food was very very average, no better than a take away served on a plate. Starters were very poor, although the main course did show an improvement, it was hardly anything to write about. It's such a shame, the restaurant is in a great location, and I loved the decoration, but the food really does let this place down

on your reviw i am very sorry that you are not happy but i am not sure is it the right restaurant or not. we are not the one in top ten asian. i think you are make a mistake and went to different restaurant.

by the way we have to say sorry if it is our restaurant . we will improve our self.

kind regards

to manit the review on monday 11 febuary

Dear Sir/madam

My name is Kaithong Prayuenyong. I am the owner of restaurant. I have remember ed you about last saturday that you were complain the red curry. One thing i have to say i can not treat all the customer the same that what they want. some customer like very spicy and some customer did not like tpp spicy. on tom yum soup we are always have lemon gras and galanga but we did not put a lot on tom yum the reason because some customer ate and make them feel sick because it was very spicy. on our recipe we have to put lemon gras and galanga to be inside but some time we did not put with the bolw soup. i am very sorry that you siad our taste of chicken satay and pranw cakes is not good. since we are opening this is the first time that we ave complaint for chicken satay anyway we will improve ourselve.

by the way we are very sorry that to hear you will not go back to our restauran agian. we have to say we are very sorry that we did not make everything the food to be your favour.

we are very sorry.

We went there on saturday. the waiteress in wings took our drinks order quickly but food order tok them 10mins to do.

starters: chicken satay was the worst i have tasted. the special prawn cakes were tasteless. the tom yum soup didnot have any lemon grass or galanga.

Main. red curry chicken tasted more like coconut soup than a curry. even when we complained to the manager all he did was shrug his shoulders and say that' we should have specified that we want proper red curry not washed down version'.

The worst thai resturant and i will never go back again.

The food was mixed. Some was excellent, namely the seafood but the 2 chicken main dishes ordered by our group of 4 were poor with the "Jungle Curry" being bland.

In line with other reviews the atmosphere was lacking as only 10 or so people were eating.

To it's merit the food does have a fair dose of chilli. There are plenty of good Indian curries to be had but few contain any heat.

We ate here a couple of weeks ago one saturday lunch time. The food was excellent (we chose from the a-la-carte menu and the service too. Our only 'downer' was the fact that there weren't more poople in there eating!! - Well worth a visit (especially as they do a selection of fabulous dishes at just £5 at lunch times)

Having eating in hundreds of Thai Restaurants the world over, I have to say this is definitely one of the best.

We eat here at least once a week as we haven't found another Thai restaurant in the city centre which comes close. The food is consistently delicious, good size portions, wonderful service and a lovely atmosphere.

The Thai Fishcakes and Prawns in Filo Pastry are to die for. They do a superb red chicken curry, and too many fantastic stir fries to name.

Fabulous!
