We went here last night for my sisters 31st birthday. There was a party of 10.

The food was amazing and makes la tasca seem like mcdonalds. You can tell all the food is cooked fresh. The breads and salads are great value for money and 1 should be shared between 2 otherwise you won't fit your other scrummy food in. I had been once before and was aware that the paellas tend to come 15mins after the tapas, so as soon as I went in I asked if all the food apart from the breads can be brought together..... and it all arrived around the same time. The staff couldn't do enough for us....there were 2 waitresses on which were spanish..love it.. it adds to the atmosphere, they could understand english very well...obvouisly the man who wrote comments below can not speak english very well. This is a beautiful restaurant, and the best spanish one by far.

Myself and my family went to this resturant last week for a celebration meal. When we arrived we were asked by the waitress if we would like a drink we ordered our drinks, myself and my sister asked for half a lager and we were brought pints my son asked for a pint of lager shandy as he was driving and he was brought a pint on lager. We ordered our meals I recieved mine minus the chips they arrived after i'd eaten my meal. Another member of my family didn't recieve his starter and recieved his paella (which was ordered 45mins prior to us eating) after we'd all finished eating. all our food was brough out at different times which ment we didn't all eat together.

There was another table that came in after us who recived their food quicker than us and all together.

The staff were miserable and because one of the waitresses was spanish she could'nt understand what your saying, they wasn't apologetic when we complained. The service was terrible and the spanish omelette was over cooked the food was not worth the money. we definatley won't be returning.

Great place for a celebration. I had my 65th birthday party for 43 people in the restaurant. I didn't hear one criticism about the food or anything else. I had a great time in a great in a great atmosphere and nothing was to much trouble for any of the staff. We have visited many times before and always been well pleased.It is very clean and the cocktails are to die for.

The restaurant has a wonderful atmosphere....You forget that you're in Yardley.

The food portions are big (twice as big as La Tascas spanish restaurants.

The food is amazing. I have been 3 times and the service has been spot on. Great night out.

Me and my mother went to this place to celebrate my birthday and what a delightful evening we had. The food is amazing and tastes so fresh – superb! The staff are fantastic and made us feel so welcome, which to me makes the night. Everything about the night was perfect! What a fabulous team and great place to enjoy an evening out this is. I would recomend this place to anyone. You're Guaranteed to have a great night. PERFECT!!

Four of us had a most enjoyable meal. The Spanish waitress was friendly and informative. The atmosphere was excellent - just like being in Spain - and there were no objections to us having a very large table. The restaurant was quiet (it was early on a Tuesday evening) but did not feel empty. It has been furnished very tastfully and the toilets were immaculate (very important). We had 2 tapas each and it was plenty. I woke up the next morning thinking about the Chirizo sausage! Every tapas had it's own individual taste and we were not disappointed with any of our choices. We had a bottle of wine and one orange juice. The bill came to around £18 each. I did not have the foresight to book on line and take advantage of the special offers and felt that this was a bit expensive but we all agreed that with such excellent food and ambience it was worth it. We will certainly be returning.

Went on a very quiet Tuesday evening but was met by a pleasant waitress who I assume is one of those running the restaurant. Shared five tappas between two, plus bread, which was just right for us. Had mixed paella, scallops in garlic butter, chorizo in cider, aubergine with vegetables in tomato sauce and chicken in chilli. All tasted fine, good combinaion of tastes and flavours. Good stuff! Looking forward to going again.

We have visited this restaurant on a number of occasions since it opened and we have been very impressed. The cocktails are excellent, the best mojito’s we have had, even better than you’d get in Cuba!!

The food is very good, we inevitably order too much because of the choice.

We would recommend this restaurant.

Visited recently and found the atmosphere was a little quiet (it was an early weekday evening). Service was friendly and efficient.

The food was very tempting and tasty - and unfortunately we managed to over-order (not surprisingly, we weren't discouraged from doing so by our server!). It's an unusual complaint that portion sizes are too large, but we would have ordered one or even two dishes fewer if we'd realised some would be on the generous side.....

I'd agree with a previous review that desserts in particular are slightly pricey, but overall we enjoyed our meal at La CC and would recommend it and be happy go back to try some more.
