Leamington Bar & Grill review by Annette, Solihull
Having had some good meals here when we lived in Leamington over a year ago we decided to revisit the restaurant on Sunday 10 Feb. NEVER AGAIN. The food was awful.
I ordered a steak medium to well done with garlic and thyme butter.
What arrived was a totally overcooked very well done piece of steak, dry as a bone with no butter. The waiter went back to the kitchen to locate the missing butter and came back to say they had run out. I ended up accepting another sauce. By this time my steak was really cold. But, not one to make a fuss I ate it.
At the end of the meal my boyfriend admitted his steak was also cold. We complained and asked for the bill expecting some recognition of our poor experience. Not a bit of it. Full price. Never, never, again.
We said we would not be visiting again. Did they care. NO!
